Elizabeth Arden Grand Entrance Mascara* is a vitamin-rich mascara that will give your lashes volume and a lift. The mascara has a very intense black and glossy formula that wears very well the whole day. I've had zero issues with this mascara flaking or smudging, so I think it would be a great option for people with sensitive eyes. The formula is also water resistant, which I personally love since I live in San Diego and sometimes I do get a little sweaty throughout the day.
I briefly mentioned what makes the brush unique in the introduction, and I do want to emphasize that the Grand Entrance Mascara has a very different brush. It is a rubber bristle brush which are quite normal nowadays, but the design is different from other brushes that I've used in the past. It's a curved brush that has three rows of conical shaped bristles and three wells that collect product. The bristles are placed close to one another, so they will create a lot of definition and comb through any clumps. Another very interesting design element is what Elizabeth Arden is calling the "push-up tip," which is basically bristles on the tip of the brush. I love the extra bristles on the tip because it allows me to fan my lashes outwards and also get the small lower lashes.
Elizabeth Arden Grand Entrance Mascara gives my lashes a very black, dramatic, and lifted effect. I didn't curl my lashes at all for the pictures, so what you're seeing is the mascara lifting and curling my lashes on its own. The way the brush is shaped makes it very easy to maneuver it around to create a fanned out effect which I'm particularly keen for.
The Elizabeth Arden Grand Entrance Mascara is such an amazing mascara and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a volumizing and lifting mascara with a smaller brush. And I know I haven't done this in a while, but I wanted to do a little giveaway for my blog readers.
