Inglot Freedom System Palette (4), $10*
The Freedom System Palette come in a variety of sizes and they're comprised of two layers: a magnetic layer that holds pans and a clear plastic layer that slides open. The two layers are magnetic, so you have the freedom of choosing how you want to use and hold your palette. I personally like putting the clear layer underneath the black layer, I find that it makes holding the palette a lot easier. The palette itself feels incredibly sturdy, definitely much sturdier than the Z Palettes and MAC palettes that I've owned. I also find that the magnets in this palette are very strong, which is a good thing because I've never felt like the clear lid will just fly off. The only con that I can think of is the fact that it only fits Inglot eyeshadows, but that isn't a huge con in my opinion. I'm personally in love with both the size and feel of this palette and I'm considering filling out my own quad in the near future.
I do have to mention that the cost of building your own quad will be $38 (not including tax), so it isn't necessarily a cheap option. Although the price does seem high, you do have to consider that the eyeshadow pans are deeper than other eyeshadows. Just as a reference MAC eyeshadows retail for $6 and contain 1.3 g (0.04 oz), while Inglot Freedom System Eye Shadows retail for $7 and contain 2.3 g (0.08 oz).
Inglot Freedom System Eye Shadow Matte Square in 355, $7*
I think most of you will find this shade boring, but this matte bone shade is anything but boring. I personally find it crucial to own a matte eyeshadow that's close to your skin color, and this one is very close to my light skin. If you're a fan of MAC's Blanc Type, then you'll really love 355. I find that I reach for this eyeshadow the most to even out my eyelids or to help any other eyeshadow blend out seamlessly.
Inglot Freedom System Eye Shadow Matte Square in 335, $7*
This shade is absolutely stunning! It is a matte burnt orange or terracotta color with amazing pigmentation. I don't know why I had never tried a color like this before because it makes my brown eyes look very rich and warm. Recently I've been really into wearing this shade all over the lid and blending it outwards. I also take some of this color and smoke it along the lower lashline for a slight grungy feel. It's the easiest look you can do, but the shade itself makes the look very interesting.
Inglot Freedom System Eye Shadow Matte Square in 329, $7*
If you're looking for a good cool toned medium brown, then this is it. This shade looks amazing as a liner, on the brows, and even smoked out in the outer-V. I will say that this is the driest matte eyeshadow out of the three I have, but it still enjoy it a lot. I recently used this eyeshadow and smudged very close to the upper and lower lashline to create a smokey eye and it looked stunning! It's definitely worth the very slight hassle of building the color up to get the most intensity.
Inglot Freedom System Eye Shadow Pearl Square in 450, $7*
Now this is a shade that you don't see often. This shimmery cranberry shade goes on incredibly smooth and it has a beautiful multidimensional sheen. I'm not going to lie, I really don't reach for reddish shades that much but I do find that the shimmer in the eyeshadow makes this color a bit more wearable. Thanks to this color I'm now very curious about trying out another shade in the Eye Shadow Pearl Square range because I think the formula is very nice.
335 all over the lid and lower lash line, 355 on the brow bone, and 329 to intensify the outer corner. I also used the popular AMC Eyeliner Gel in 77* to line my eyes. It had been a hot minute since the last time I used gel eyeliner and I honestly forgot how matte it is, I actually think I'm going to be rekindling my love for gel eyeliner now.
